'Geisterschlucht' Cabin
Rustic 'Geisterschlucht' Cabin nestles against massive granite boulders in a picturesque and sheltered valley of the Aus Mountains. It is ideally suited for families and groups. Only one party at a time will be put up there, regardless of the number of people, and will have the cabin all to itself. The cabin consists of two dormitories with 5 bunk beds each, two showers and two organic toilets. The communal kitchen and dining area is open plan; there is also an outside grill for pleasant evenings together. Barbecue packs are available at the reception (Desert Horse Inn, 6 km). Guests are more than welcome at the Inn's restaurant (subject to space available, please enquire upon arrival). Two hiking trails run through the valley; the habitat of the Wild Horses is just 20 km away.
